Where I live, everyone’s a Middle East analyst by lunch. The barista. The plumber. Now the pop stars, chanting geopolitics into a stadium mic between encore ballads. Pink reposts, Macklemore wails, and neither has read a briefing. Millions displaced. Millions more performing outrage for ticket sales. That’s the joke. Nobody’s laughing.
Of course she doubled down the second she hit repost. Pretending that’s breaking news is the real farce.
