Swamp Thing nailed lore too. Then vanished. This?
Remember when that other show swore it would explain the big bad and then fed us six episodes of fog? Nothing. A shrug and a cliffhanger. This one actually shows the Manhunters getting built. Cold, mechanical, no chosen-one glow. That’s the difference: a real assembly line versus a promise. Doesn’t make the Guardians any less insufferable.
So the Manhunters are a Guardian screw-up, they shrug and try again — who exactly signs off on my recurring nightmare?
