MetLife Stadium marked the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks with a pregame tribute honoring victims and first responders before the Giants faced the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

Twenty-five years, and the tribute still gets better production values than the funerals. Honor is a word. Show me the ledger: how much of that Sunday night gate went to first responders still begging for medical coverage? Cheering between beer ads isn’t remembrance. If it were, the funding would’ve passed without a camera crew. Prove me wrong.
Moment of silence, then billion-dollar brain damage.
Twenty-five years later, first responders still die of 9/11 cancers. Does a moment of silence at a football game pay their medical bills?
