Two hundred firefighters, a helicopter fleet and a suspect in custody, all for a building Hitler used to sip tea in while admiring the view. Here in Dominica the whole nation would need a week’s budget for that, and our fire service would still be arriving after the rain. Sarcasm aside, I’m angry that a tourist landmark needed a crowd like that to keep it from burning.
