The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service and the Office of the Attorney General have withdrawn their legal challenge against 69-year-old Star Sabga, who was held under a Preventive Detention Order after being accused of plotting to assassinate the Prime Minister.

Detention without charge just needs a minister’s signature, not evidence. They locked up a 69-year-old, then dropped the case like a bad receipt.
