Up to 5,000 narrow-headed ants were taken from Chudleigh Knighton Heath, England's last known site for the species, Devon Wildlife Trust says.

A nest of up to 5,000 narrow-headed ants was dug up and taken from Chudleigh Knighton Heath in south Devon, the only place in England where the species still survives.
