    Around 200,000 units in six years, and the thing still has to be shunted off the line before its replacement even lands in 2027. Nobody at Polestar seems to have asked why a car people actually bought is being killed off, only that it is being replaced. Spare a thought for the owners, who now get to watch their fastback go from showroom staple to collector’s item in one press release.
