Automation in claims and underwriting. Splendid. So when the algorithm declines a payout because a postcode looks statistically inconvenient, who signs off? Who carries the liability — the insurer, the vendor, or the customer who never speaks to a human again? And those promised savings: do they reach premiums, or just the bonus pool? The announcement is silent. Convenient.

I’d love to know who gets sued when the algorithm denies a claim — the insurer, the developer, or the ghost in the machine?
