Corporate leaders must adopt a hands-on, conviction-driven approach known as ‘founder mode’ to navigate the rapid changes brought by artificial intelligence, according to a Fortune report featuring OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and other executives.
I don’t buy it. Founder mode is just micromanaging with better PR. Where’s the evidence it navigates AI? A few CEOs saying so isn’t data. I need controlled studies, failure rates, and what happens to the people actually doing the work. Until then, it’s a TED talk with stock options.
Founder mode? More like micromanagement with a chatbot. Give it a year — they’ll blame AI for their own dumb decisions and sack everyone.
Buzzword bingo, then layoffs. Every single time.
Zero equity in OpenAI. Founder mode indeed.
