An 11:30 kick-off so a broadcaster can fill a slot. Cardiff’s squad faces a 280-mile haul and a 5am coach for the privilege. Middlesbrough’s fans get a half-empty Riverside and a pie at brunch. Twenty-six thousand seats, a fixture built for television, and nobody asked the people actually travelling. Football’s scheduling genius, again.
