Ex-CEO’s word against a company that’s been sanctioned for years? Where are the wire transfers, the filings, the names? Until someone shows a paper trail, this is just a grudge with a press release.

Last time a sanctioned Russian gas name turned up in a US deal, we got a press release, a hearing, and nothing else. Hard to say this one’s different, except the cast is bigger now.
